Best Food to Eat to Conceive a Boy
You can decide what foods to eat that will help you to conceive a boy.
In this article I shall explain what foods these are and why changing your diet can have any effect on the gender of your baby.
X and Y Chromosomes Your partners' semen will contain sperm of two types.
Ones that carry the X chromosome and will result in a baby girl if they fertilise the egg and ones that carry the Y chromosome that will result in a boy if they fertilise the egg.
These different sperm have different characteristics and behaviours and it is because of this that you can have a choice in the sex of your baby.
Y sperm are very fast but they are also weak and short lived.
You need to make things as easy for them as possible to ensure that you conceive a boy.
There are three main factors that you can play around with but, in this article I shall focus upon diet.
Y's are a little weak and can't survive long in an acidic environment.
Our bodies, unless we are uber healthy or aware of our bodies PH are usually acidic.
You need to turn your pH to the alkaline scale to heighten your chances of getting pregnant with a boy.
How Exactly? One way you can change your PH is through the foods that you consume.
Every piece of food has a PH level.
When eaten these foods will have either an acidic or alkaline effect on your body.
It stands to reason that if you eat foods that have an alkaline effect on you then your PH levels will go up, allowing your body to be more hospitable to Y sperm.
You do not need to make huge changes to your diet.
Most healthy fresh foods are alkaline.
I suggest that before you begin to change your diet you should test your pH levels using pH strips or 'stix' which should be available from your pharmacist, GP or online.
You never know, you may already be in the "boy zone".
