- 1). Press the "Power" button to turn off your Xbox.
- 2). Remove the power cord from the back of your console, and unplug the cord from the wall outlet and from the power supply unit.
- 3). Reinsert the cords into all three connections that you disconnected. There is no particular order in which you need to plug in these devices; however, it is important to make sure all connections are securely inserted.
- 4). Press the "Power" button to turn the Xbox back on. There now will be a single green light at the top-left corner of the power button.
