Burn After Reading
It's the title of a funny movie I saw the other night.
Besides the sheer comic absurdity of the plot, the most fun was watching some of my favorite actors: John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, George Clooney and Brad Pitt play some VERY funny characters with such conviction.
ACTING!! as John Lovitz used to say.
But I love the title of the movie for another reason.
It gave me an idea for a great energetic process to support your transformation, no matter what you're wanting to change for the better.
Here's what it is...

Write in detail the story of what you DON'T WANT.
That's right, this first step has you focus on what is in your life that you have been wanting to change.
Write about it in detail.
Be very specific.
Include people, places, things, emotions, senses, etc.
Put a LOT into this story.
When you feel it is complete.
Take it to a quiet place, take a deep breath and read it aloud to yourself.
More than once.
Read it until you begin to feel kind of sick and tired of it.
Read it until you start getting pissed off about it.
Read it until you are ready to throw something at someone!! Read it until you could scream and cry.
Then read it once more.
Overkill is what we're after here.
Super saturation.
No denial about how BAD it has felt to live this story.

Now take it outdoors, or to your fireplace, fire pit, etc.
and BURN IT!! Literally, BURN IT.
And as it burns, allow yourself to feel it disintegrating within yourself just as the paper it was written on is doing.
Watch the smoke waft upwards and offer up to the Universe the old energy of this old story and imagine that it becomes, once again, pure positive energy to be used for co-creation all over the Universe.
Let the old painful story go just as you let the smoke go.
G-O-N-E.
Take a few deep cleansing breaths.

Now go back to the place where you wrote the old story and write now the story of how you WANT THINGS TO BE.
How YOU want to be.
About the CHANGE you want to experience.
Write about it in detail.
Be very specific.
Include people, places, things, emotions, senses, etc.
Put a lot into this story.
Write as if your life depended on it.
When you feel it is complete, take it to a quiet place, take a deep breath and read it aloud to yourself.
More than once.
Read it until you begin to feel aligned with the YOU in this new positive story.
Read it until you can experience it with your senses.
Read it until you can find the feeling place of it.
Read it until you feel joyful, enthusiastic.
Read it until you believe that it ALREADY IS.
Then read it again.
Again, overkill is what we want here.
Super saturation with this new positive reality.
4.
Read it multiple times every day.
Act as if it IS ALREADY TRUE.
Do things, say things, feel things, dream things that the YOU in the ALREADY reality does.
Become that person for whom the next logical step IS this new positive, changed reality.
