Digital Macro Photography - What You Don"t See Is What You Get
In today's age of zero lag time, and instant gratification, we get lost in the sea of day to day living.
I have found that through Digital Macro Photography that my appreciation of my surroundings and Mother Earth has been rekindled.
It wasn't until I looked at my pictures of a freshly fallen snowflake, or the subtleties of a Dragon Fly's wing that everything made sense once again.
I highly recommend this field of photography to anyone young or old, beginner, or professional.
WE need to slow down, and smell the roses (or better yet, photograph them!!).
With the advances of today's cameras, anyone with a point and shoot camera or a DSLR camera and lens, can take stunningly beautiful digital macro photographs.
Don't worry about subject matter either.
It could be a thumb tack sitting on a table, or it could be a water droplet hanging from a branch.
It is a whole other world that awaits, and is yours to explore.
You will see everyday objects as you have never seen them before.
The detail and the subtleties that are present, yet are often overlooked will be there right in front of you, just waiting to be seen.
With a bit of practice and a steady hand, it is fairly easy to take some quite remarkable photographs.
Add a tripod and the results can be breathtaking.
I have always loved taking photographs, but it wasn't until I stumbled across digital macro photography that I discovered a true passion.
Your reaction my not be the same as mine was, but I still would recommend that you give it a try, and see what happens.
You just never know what could happen, or what you might see that you have never seen before.
It's all there, right in front of us, just waiting to be seen, and appreciated.
