I know that sounds really really crazy, just take a few minutes and read on. When I started this adventure all I could think about was the money. Why? Because it was what I needed, I didn't think that this was going to be my enemy. I told my self that it was something to use to push myself. To make me better then what I was. I became so focused on money and the monetary success that I forgot what this is about.

Let me back up and tell all of you about myself and get to the point of this article. When I was younger I was a very social person; I got along with everyone, and solved most disagreements among my friends. I didn't have a lot of stress and just lived life. When my friends and I would go out, it would be all about laughing and having a great time. As life progressed I found that I wasn't laughing so much and the stress level in my life grew. Bills had to be paid, food put on the table and a roof over my head. I thought that I liked my jobs, so I kept pressing forward. Thinking that I would become something that my employers would respect and give me the rewards that I deserved. Well, the rewards never came and bitterness set in. I didn't realize that the bitterness took over and I couldn't stop it. I became withdrawn from people. I had become that person that I despised.

Then, I heard about network marketing. How easy it is and how I could become rich overnight. The idea of not having to worry about anything any more got under my skin. I am sure that all of you have had the same thought. Unfortunately, we focus on the monetary aspect of network marketing, and can't figure out why we can't make it. So then we QUIT. I did say this is how NM saved me right? Let me finish.

I searched the web on how to make it work, bought into all the "buy this program and..." I have tried it all! My bank account was empty, my stress level was through the roof, and I thought that I was going to fail. I don't accept failure at all! I stepped back from all of this to get a breath of fresh air and that is when it hit me. This is called network marketing for a reason. It is about being social and having fun. Man, I would have loved to have this epiphany a long time ago. Sometimes it is the obvious thing that we overlook. All of the other stuff was nothing but a distraction. Yes, I learned about his industry from some of the courses. Unfortunately they all pretty much say the same thing!

In the end what it comes down to is networking! This is where the saving of my life comes in. I was forced to talk to people, get to know them, and laugh again! I had forgotten how great this feeling was. I realized that socializing with people is a huge part of our health, mentally and physically. Let alone building relationships is what we have to do to succeed in this industry. As the time passed I felt more at ease, I started to get the full picture. I love to teach and see people succeed. By solving other people's problems and helping them, is what made me start to profit. There is no get rich quick scheme. It is what you make of it and how well we help each other out. This is what determines how fast you can grow your business. When we become financially stable it is amazing how little we stress out. I know that everyone can relate to that.
