How to Remove XP Internet Security, Antivirus Vista 2010 or Win 7 Antispyware 2010
- 1). From an uninfected computer, download an anti-malware program, such as Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (support.bridgecomp.com/downloads/malware-bytes-setup.exe) and a malware fix application, such as Malware-Fix.reg (support.bridgecomp.com/downloads/malware-fix.reg).
- 2). Copy the downloaded files onto your USB flash drive. If you do not have a flash drive, you can alternately download the files and burn them to a disc.
- 3). Review the log if you want, and then close it. Close the Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware program and restart your computer. Your computer should now be malware-free and infection-free. You can remove the Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware program from your computer if you like, but you should keep the files on your flash drive or keep the disc that contains the files in case of future infections.
- 4). With the rogue program running, insert the USB flash drive or disc into the infected computer.
- 5). Run the registry key fix program. When Windows prompts whether you want to allow the data to be added to your computer, click on the "Yes" button.
- 6). Install the anti-malware application. Follow the on-screen instructions. Update the anti-malware definitions. Then click on the "Finish" button.
- 7). Click on "OK." You will be presented with the main screen of the program.
- 8). From the "Scanner" tab, verify that the "Perform Full Scan" option is selected and then click on the "Scan" button to start scanning your computer for the rogue programs and any associated files.
- 9). The anti-malware application will start scanning your computer for malware. Depending on the speed of your computer, this process can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. When it is complete, a message box will inform you that the scan completed successfully. Click the "OK" button. The main Scanner screen appears.

Click on the "Show Results" button. A screen displaying all the malware that the program found will be displayed. - 11
Make sure that all of the check boxes next to each of the "Vendor" names are checked. Click on the "Remove Selected" button. After the program has finished removing the malware from your computer, it will open a scan log and display it in Notepad.
