- 1). Open Mozilla Firefox.
- 2). Click the "Firefox" button in the top right corner of the browser and select "Options." The Options window opens.
- 3). Click the "Content" tab in the Options window.
- 4). Check the box next to "Block Pop-up Windows" and click "OK."
- 5). Close Mozilla Firefox.
- 6). Run an up-to-date antimalware program. There are several free antimalware programs available online, including Avast!, AVG Free Edition and Microsoft Security Essentials (see Resources).
