Shaking Ink Cartridges

• 1). Turn the Epson printer on by pressing the power button.
  
  
• 2). Lift up the printer cover and press down on the tab of the ink cartridges. Remove them from the printer by pulling them out.
  
  
• 3). Shake the ink cartridges as hard as you can for five seconds. Place them back in the printer.
  
  
• 4). Press down on the cartridge tabs to snap them back into place. Close the printer cover and turn off the printer.
  
  

Replacing Ink Cartridges

• 1). Turn the Epson printer on by pressing the power button.
  
  
• 2). Lift up the printer cover and press down on the tab of the ink cartridges. Remove them from the printer by pulling them out.
  
  
• 3). Place the replacement cartridges into the printer and press down on the plastic tab of the cartridges to lock them into the printer.
  
  
• 4). Close the cover and turn the power off.
