- 1). Cover a sturdy cardboard box with fiber fill material. Discard the box lid -- it is not needed. Cut the fiber fill so that it will wrap once around the outside of the box and secure it to the box with the hot glue gun.
- 2). Cover the fiber fill with satin material once the glue has dried. Wrap the satin as if wrapping a gift and secure the edges of the material with hot glue.
- 3). Cut a piece of fiber fill to fit inside the box. Cover the fiber fill with another piece of satin and tuck the edges under, creating a pillow look inside the box.
- 4). Use ribbon, craft pearls and sequins to decorate the box to your taste. You may also choose to stencil the first letter of your new last name (if you are changing it) onto the box using calligraphy stencils and indelible marker or paint pens.
