    • 1). Turn off all power to the Jacuzzi at the circuit breaker panel. You must detach parts of the motor and come into contact with electrical wiring. Further, the removal of the impeller also causes water to leak. These two facts make it imperative that you shut off the power before beginning this project.

    • 2). Find the large screw near the jacuzzi motor. Turn it clockwise to loosen. You can use your fingers for this step. When the screw comes out, grasp the motor and separate it from the rest of the assembly.

    • 3). Unscrew the cover on the motor using a screwdriver. Place the screws inside your pocket or another secure location for safe keeping. Remove the cover to expose the impeller.

    • 4). Look inside and inspect the impeller. You should see several blades. Look around and inspect for leaves, dirt and other debris. Use your fingers or long thin tool such as pliers to remove these obstructions. Continue moving the impeller blades to see if you can find anymore obstructions.

    • 5). Place the seal back on and reinsert the screws over the impeller when you have finished cleaning. Replace the assembly into its proper spot and fasten with the large screw.

    • 6). Return power to the Jacuzzi and turn it on to test the impeller. Normal water flow should return.
