How to Back Up Rosetta Stone User Files
- 1). Look for the Rosetta Stone user files on the computer. The software will save all your user files by default to a specific location on the hard drive. To find where, go into the settings and look for an option specifying where to save local data.
- 2). Select the user files that you want to back up.
- 3). Insert a blank disc into the disc drive on the computer.
- 4). Select the option to burn a data disc with the preferred disc-authorizing software. A prompt will come up as soon as the blank disc is inserted. It will have a number of options. Select the one with which you can create a data disc.
- 5). Copy the selected Rosetta Stone user files to the blank disc. You can do this from the user interface of the disc-authoring software.
- 6). Select the option to close the disc from the same interface. Closing the disc after burning will ensure that you can access the contents on other computers.
- 7). Click "Burn to Disc" or a similar button on the software interface.
- 8). Wait for the disc-writing process to finish. This will be indicated by a prompt on the software interface and/or the automatic ejection of the backup disc from the disc drive. Label the backup disc appropriately.
