- 1). Turn off the power to the computer. Remove all plugs and cables from the exterior of the CPU.
- 2). Take the Philips screwdriver and remove all the screws which keep the shell of the CPU attached to the case. Once the screws are removed slide the case off to expose the interior of the CPU.
- 3). Insert the MythTV Capture Card into one of the available PCI slots (the long, thin rectangular slots along the side of the computer). The inputs will be exposed through the back end of the CPU, where the rest of the cables are attached to the computer.
- 4). Place the CPU case back onto the computer and tighten the screws back into place. Plug the cables back into the computer and power the system on.
- 5). Insert the MythTV Capture Card installation disk into the computer. Wait a moment and the driver installation wizard will load. Follow the prompts to complete the installation of the software and the MythTV Capture Card driver.
- 6). Attach the cable or antenna's coaxial cable to the coaxial cable input on the MythTV Capture Card. Launch the MythTV's software. The MythTV's Capture Card will now be completely installed.
