- 1). Visit the Microsoft Office template database and enter the phrase "Candy wrappers." Select "Word" from the adjacent drop down menu. Press enter.
- 2). Click on the "Candy bar wrapper" template and press the download button. Accept Microsoft's service agreement and click "Download."
- 3). Open the file and the template will appear in Microsoft Word. Double click the text "Thanks for Sharing" and the word art menu will appear. Change the shape, fill or outline through the corresponding submenus. Click "Edit Text" to personalize with your own message.
- 4). Change the text "Person's Name" and "Person's Age" to your guest of honor's name and age or date of the party. Change the text, "Birthday," if necessary, to reflect the appropriate celebration. Change any of the additional text by highlighting and typing over it.
- 5). Click on the floral image and press "delete," if you want to replace the image with one of your guest(s) of honor. Navigate to the "Insert" menu and press "Picture." Choose a file from the dialog box and click "Insert."
- 6). Hover your mouse over one corner of your image, press and drag to resize your image. Hover over the center of the image, click and drag to your desired location.
- 7). Print one copy on 8 ½-by-11-inch paper. Proof the page for image placement and spelling errors. Make any necessary changes and print another copy. Print your required quantity once you are happy with the wrapper. Trim each page around the lines of the 8 1/4-by-9 ¼- inch template.
