Truth Mahatma Gandhi dedicated his whole life in pursuance of truth.
He always tried to learn from his mistakes and by conducting experiments on himself.

Non-violence Well, Gandhi was never the founder of non-violence, but he was the first to apply it successfully in the political field.
And that was a huge success.
The concept of non-violence has had existed in Indian history from time immemorial.
Hindus, Buddhists and Jains have preached non-violence since ages.
Simplicity Gandhi was a firm believer in simplicity.
Opulence and pomp had no place in his heart.
He was of the opinion that a person who is involved in social service or someone who is working for the betterment of the lives of the people in country, must lead a simple life himself.
He began pursuing the life of simplicity during his later days in South Africa where he began his career as a lawyer.

Gandhi never forbade the path of truth and peace.
He also gave up his life for truth.
He was also instrumental in shaping a modern India and envisioned a country free from all forms of violence.
