If the Notifier smoke detector is located in a particularly dusty area with lots of debris, you may need to clean it more often. - 2). Use a vacuum cleaner hose attached to clean all around the Notifier smoke detector, including dust, debris and any cobwebs. Pay special attention to the smoke chamber because this is the area of the Notifier smoke detector that is likely to need the most cleaning.
- 3). Use a dry air hose to carefully blow out the smoke chamber. This removes the remainder of dust and debris for optimal performance.
