    • 1). Knead the fondant to soften and prepare for cutting.

    • 2). Dip a toothpick into the food coloring and into the fondant. Continue to knead the fondant with your hands until it reaches the desired color.

    • 3). Sprinkle powered sugar or cornstarch on a clean flat surface and on the rolling pin. Lay the fondant on the coated surface and roll it out into the thickness you require for your design.
