3). Slowly build your inventory. You are going to need baking pans, bags, decorating tips, a turntable or lazy susan.
4). Make sample cakes for your friends and family. Let them know that you are starting a new business. You will be surprised at how much business you will gain from word of mouth.
5). Order business cards or print your own. Make sure to leave a few business cards with your customers. You could even offer a discount on the business card.
