How to Clean Lint From the Lower Front of a Dryer
- 1). Remove all items from the dryer. This prevents loose lint from attaching to clean clothing while you clean the lint trap.
- 2). Reach into the dryer and pull the lint trap upward and out of the dryer. While lint traps can be located in either the front or back of a clothes dryer, lint traps located in the front either rest in the base of the dryer door or directly behind the dryer door, toward the front of the machine.
- 3). Pull the loose lint from the lint trap with your fingers and throw it into the garbage.
- 4). Rinse the lint trap under hot tap water and pat it with a paper towel until is completely dry.
- 5). Return the dry lint trap to the lint trap receptacle in the front of the dryer.
