How to Clean Lint From the Lower Front of a Dryer

1). Remove all items from the dryer. This prevents loose lint from attaching to clean clothing while you clean the lint trap.
2). Reach into the dryer and pull the lint trap upward and out of the dryer. While lint traps can be located in either the front or back of a clothes dryer, lint traps located in the front either rest in the base of the dryer door or directly behind the dryer door, toward the front of the machine.
3). Pull the loose lint from the lint trap with your fingers and throw it into the garbage.
4). Rinse the lint trap under hot tap water and pat it with a paper towel until is completely dry.
5). Return the dry lint trap to the lint trap receptacle in the front of the dryer.
