The personal and career benefits of learning this increasingly vital language are tremendous. Thus, while learning Spanish can be quite a challenge, it is a worthwhile goal. Plus, with wireless internet on your smart phone, there are many resources and tools to help you master your new language. The following are merely some of the ways in which this technology can help.

First, you will have with you at all times an online translator. When you are learning a new language, you will have many questions about what word means what and with Google translator, you will be able to instantly figure out what that word means. Sometimes, you hear a new word in class and you tell yourself that you will look it up later; however, the odds of you actually finding out the translation of that word is quite slim. You will either forget or you will get lazy. With a wireless internet connection, you have these tools on the spot, so you can instantly find out the information you are looking for.

Second, you will have many applications that will help you learn the new language. Many smart phone application provide you with exercises and grammar rules directly on your phone so that you can practice no matter where you are. You won't be carrying your books and worksheets with you at all times; however, you will have your smart phone with you. Thus, you can take advantage of all those off moments during the day so that you can practice and drill some of these grammar rules in your head. Think of all those wasted moments during the day. Instead of just standing and waiting 20 minutes at the bus stop, you can pull out your phone and read through your grammar rules. Instead of sitting at the doctor's office, you can pull out your phone and test your subjunctive tense. Lastly, wireless internet allows you to stream videos and music fluidly onto your smart phone. When learning a new language, it is important for you practice listening to native speakers. Thus, streaming episodes of television shows in that language or songs in that language can be incredibly useful.
