DIY Wedding Ring Bearer Pillow
- 1). Lay the fabric on a clean surface and place your pillow in the center. Cut the fabric around the pillow with a 1-inch seam allowance. Use two pieces of fabric cut to the same size or fold the fabric over the pillow so you only have to sew three edges.
- 2). Turn the fabric inside out so you're working with the rough side and the finished fabric -- which will be what you see on the pillow -- are facing each other. Pin the corners of the fabric together.
- 3). Sew three sides of the fabric together. If you folded the fabric over you'll only sew two sides. Leave one side open. Remove the pins.
- 4). Slide the pillow in the case pushing out all the corners. Sew the fourth side together.
- 5). Attach lace or ribbon around the outer edges of the pillow if you want a border. Use fabric glue or sew on the lace.
- 6). Tie a bow around the pillow with satin ribbon in your wedding colors. Cut the ribbon when you have the length of tails on the bow that you want. Add another bow with smaller ribbon. Stitch the ribbon to the pillow or pin it in a way that you can hide the pins. Tie two novelty rings to the ribbon.
- 7). Glue small decorative embellishments to the ribbon tails or bow if you want something extra. For example, use hot glue to attach small silk flowers or rhinestones to the ribbon.
