- 1). Comb your hair with the wide-tooth comb to remove all tangles and snarls. Squeeze a little styling gel into your hands, rub your hands together and apply the gel to your hair to provide extra control.
- 2). Divide your hair in half horizontally by parting it with the comb around the back of your head from ear to ear. Comb the top half together and fasten it into an upper ponytail at the crown of your head using one of the elastic bands. Comb the bottom half together and fasten it into a lower ponytail with the other elastic band positioning this ponytail below the top ponytail.
- 3). Coil the top ponytail around and around to create a bun. After twisting and coiling the ponytail into a bun shape, anchor the bun by inserting bobby pins about every 2 inches around the bun.
- 4). Repeat the same process with the lower ponytail to create another bun. When you finish, you should have double buns stacked above and below each other at the back of your head.
- 5). Spray the buns lightly with hairspray to set the style.
