How to Erase All Web Trails on a MacBook

1). Launch Safari from the dock and click the "History" button on the main menu. Scroll down and click "Clear History." Click "OK" to clear history.
2). Click the "Safari" button and click "Preferences." Click the "Security" tab and click the "Show cookies" button. Click "Remove all" to delete saved cookies. Click "Done."
3). Click the "Autofill" tab and click "Edit" next to "Other Forms." Click "Remove all" to clear saved email addresses, passwords and contact information. Click "Done."
4). Click the "Safari" button on the main menu and click "Empty Cache" Click "OK" to confirm and remove the browser cache.
5). Click the "Windows" button on the main menu and click "Downloads" to launch the downloads window. Click "Clear" to removed trails of downloaded content.
