    • 1). Pour club soda into the pot while it's still warm from cooking. Allow it to sit for one hour. Scrape particles from the bottom of the pan with the end of a wooden spoon or rubber spatula.

    • 2). Wash the pot in hot, soapy water. Scrub with a nonabrasive scrubbing pad or sponge.

    • 3). Combine 2 tablespoons of coarse salt and 1/4 cup of white vinegar in a bowl. Stir together to make a paste. Rub the paste on the bottom of the pot to remove stuck-on food.

    • 4). Coat stains with ketchup and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Wipe clean with a soft cloth, rinse and dry.

    • 5). Polish the exterior of the pot with a specially formulated copper cleaner according to package directions.
