What Causes Gynecomastia in Men?
You are not alone; nearly 60% of the adult male population are affected in some way.
If you are affected or want to avoid getting man boobs, read on.
I will endeavour to explain come of the causes of Gynecomastia and some possible solutions to the problem.
Are you overweight? The most common cause of this condition is being overweight.
We eat so many processed and sugary foods these days it's no wonder we pile on the pounds.
Fat will always find areas of the body to sit on.
With women it is usually the stomach and hips.
With men you'll find it gathers on the chest.
So, lose weight, lose the boobs.
How are your hormones? If you have a hormone imbalance (check with your doctor) you may need a prescription drug.
However, we do take in a lot of hormones through our food so switching to an organic diet may do the trick.
Not as young as you used to be? Sadly, as we get older we tend to lose muscle tone and store more fat (sometimes known as middle age spread).
You just have to work harder with the diet and exercise to keep this one at bay.
Do you like a tipple? The occasional glass of wine over dinner won't do much harm.
However, if you're the type who sits in front of the TV with a six pack you're just asking for trouble! Not only will you get man boob, you can have a big beer belly to rest them on (Yuk!).
