This CD was originally released last year, but Totimoshi switched record labels and it is being re-released. Totimoshi are a Bay Area trio that play a mix of stoner and doom metal with a retro vibe and some Latin influences.
Ladron is thick and heavy with fuzzy guitars. Totimoshi channel Black Sabbath and the Melvins into their own unique vibe. The songs are very diverse, ranging from slow and doomy to sparse and acoustic to fast and sludgy.
Tony Aguilar's vocals are also diverse, ranging from melodic singing to harsher singing to yelling. You'll also hear some nice harmonies from bassist Meg Castellanos. This is a CD that will appeal to fans of stoner, sludge, doom and good old fashioned rock and roll.
