Inversion Table - How to Live With Back Pain

103 8
My husband Larry, who is now 64 years old uses an Inversion Table one to two times daily.
A couple of years ago I noticed one of my husband's hips was higher than the other and he thought it was due to him carrying his bildfold in his back pocket.
He stopped doing that, but nothing happened; one hip remained higher than the other.
He also experienced lots of pain in his back and thought it might be because he worked on his feet every day.
He had also fell off a ladder a few years ago and had experienced pain in his back off and on for years even after treatment had failed him.
I asked him to please start using the Inversion Table every day in hopes that he would get relief.
After all, we already owned it and it was already in our home.
He wouldn't even have to drive somewhere to use it.
He finally agreed and started to invert daily.
He would invert a quick 3 minutes in the morning before brushing his teeth and would also invert again before going to bed if he was in pain.
After a while, I noticed that his hip was starting to line up with the other one and he began to walk straighter.
He also told me that he was experiencing less pain in his back.
Over time, his hips lined up and his back pain became less and less often.
He inverts to this day every day as he knows if he goes for a while without using the Inversion Table, the back pain returns.
Inversion is not a cure for back pain, but it is a way to live with a bad back.
If you invert religiously, the pain stops and it is a way to live pretty much pain free in many cases.
If you stop inverting, the back pain eventually comes back and you start over again.
You should always go to a doctor and get an X ray of your back to determine what is wrong before starting inversion therapy.
There are instances where you should not invert.
Always be safe, not sorry.
Also, I am going to be journaling about my new inversion system, the Yoga Inversion Swing using the new linked in yoga inversion stand with trapeze.
Hopefully, I will be able to convince my husband to go to this next level in our pursuit to over all good health the natural way.
Hope you found this article to be helpful in your pursuit to good health.
Remember, an ounce of prevention is always better than a pound of cure.
Some companies are encouraging their employees to go to the doctor for prevention.
That is when you should be using your health insurance the most, for prevention.
It is much better to prevent disease than it is to try to fix the problem once it is already there.
Check here often to read my future yoga journals.
I hope they will help you in your journey to good health.
