How to Replace the Wheels on a Glass Sliding Door
- 1). Remove any door hangings, window shades, or other decorations that may impair your ability to move your sliding glass door.
- 2). Turn the roller adjustment screws at the bottom of one of your sliding glass doors counterclockwise as far as they will go. One screw should be in each of the bottom corners.
- 3). Turn the roller adjustment screws at the top of the door counterclockwise as far as they will go.
- 4). Remove the sliding glass door by lifting it up into the top track and pulling the bottom of the door out of the track bottom. Lay your door down on a carpeted floor or padded surface.
- 5). Remove any other screws holding the lower rollers in place and pry the rollers from the door with a flat-head screwdriver.
- 6). Install new rollers in the door and replace any screws that you may have removed in Step 5.
- 7). Vacuum out the sliding door track and wipe the area down to remove dirt.
- 8). Replace the door by lifting it into the top track, sliding the bottom in over the bottom track and lowering it into place.
- 9). Adjust all four roller screws by turning them clockwise until your door is sitting level in the frame and cannot be lifted.

Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the other sliding glass door.
