Wrinkle Skin Care - Make Sure it is Helping and Not Hurting Your Sensitive Skin

There are lots of wrinkle skin care products on the market today, but if you're not careful, you might end up buying something that does more harm than good.
Let me give you some advice about buying wrinkle remover cream.
Hopefully, it will help you to protect yourself.
Avoid Known Irritants & Allergens That is simple enough to say, but it can be hard to do.
How do you know what the "known" irritants and allergens are?Without going into all of the problematic ingredients that are commonly used by cosmetic companies, here's a simple way to tell.
If the wrinkle skin care product that you are considering bears a warning label to "test on an inconspicuous area" or "not for use on broken or inflamed skin", beware.
The company knows that the ingredients can cause irritation and/or allergic reaction.
Even if you feel that your skin is "not so sensitive", you should look for hypo-allergenic products that are free of artificial preservatives and fragrances.
Those are the most common causes of adverse reactions.
As we age, our skin becomes more sensitive, and things that didn't cause allergic reaction in our twenties can in our forties.
You would think that companies that provide wrinkle remover cream would realize these issues and work to provide the safest products, but I only know of one that really does that.
Avoid the "Safe Botox Alternatives" The companies advertise their wrinkle remover cream as safe alternatives to Botox.
First of all, no one knows if the active ingredient is "safe".
It's a synthetic version of a protein peptide designed to penetrate the skin and relax the tiny facial muscles.
The US FDA has warned some of the companies that if their statements are true, it classifies the compound "Argireline" as a new drug, and it must pass numerous safety protocols.
So, either their wrinkle skin care products do not perform as advertised, OR they need to be pulled from the market and further evaluated.
It really doesn't matter.
Wrinkle remover cream, of this type, is based on the theory that habitual facial muscles cause fine lines and deep crevasses.
We now know that free radical damage causes those lines and we know that antioxidant wrinkle skin care creams can repair the damage.
Look for Functional Keratin, Coenzyme Q10 and Natural Vitamin E Functional keratin is a naturally occurring protein peptide that provides the necessary nutrients for building new skin cells.
In clinical studies, it has been shown to increase the number of new cells on volunteers' faces by as much as 160%.
The people with the worst damage showed the greatest improvement.
Functional keratin has powerful antioxidant activity.
Wrinkle remover cream, that combines it with Coenzyme Q10 and natural vitamin E, can effectively repair the damage that free radicals have done to your face.
It's never too early to start an effective anti wrinkle skin care routine.
But, with functional keratin, it is never too late either.
Give it a try and see what you think.
