- 1). Fill a bowl with hot water.
- 2). Hold the beret's inner lining and submerge the top of the beret in hot water. Do not get the leather headband wet; water can destroy the leather. Gently wring or shake out the excess water.
- 3). Put the beret on and mold it to your head.
- 4). Hold the beret's inner lining and submerge the top of the beret again in cold water. Mold the beret to your head again and keep it on for 20 minutes. While you have it on, you can mold it to your desired shape.
- 5). Repeat the entire process until you have the desired shape. If you choose to repeat the process, the beret has to be completely dry before you begin again.
