Halloween Costume Ideas for Bartenders Working
- Dress up in a bartending costume that's a throwback to an earlier time. You could wear old saloon-style clothes with a bow-tie, vest and cowboy hat. Or, you could also be a 1950s diner waitress, beer maid or casino/flapper cocktail waitress. This theme can be fun if everyone who works at the bar participates. For a fun twist, you can also play music from whatever era your costumes are from and serve drinks that were popular then.
- Come to work dressed as a mad scientist/mixologist. Wear a white lab coat, black-rimmed glasses and mix drinks in beakers. You can also dress as a variation of this theme. For example, you could be a witch who mixes magic potions or a genie who grants drink wishes. Come up with a signature drink that relates to your costume and give it a fun name, like the Mad Scientist or the Cackling Witch.
- Talk to your other bartenders or servers and come up with a fun group theme for costumes. If your bar has a sports theme, you could all dress as cheerleaders and football players. If your bar is part of a sushi restaurant, come as sea creatures. Or, dress as characters from a popular movie, like "The Wizard of Oz." You can also all agree to a popular genre, like the 1920s speakeasy culture.
- If you have a lot of regulars at your bar who know you and the other bartenders, it can be fun to dress up as your coworker or boss. Have each person who works at the bar dress up as another employee. You can take this a step further and have all the women dress up as men and all the men dress up as women. Give out prizes for the most accurate/believable costume.
