A popular hair restoration treatment is laser hair restoration.
Its ease of use, low to nil complications, and high success rate has made this particular treatment much sought after these days.
Most people opt for in-house treatment, at least initially, and typically require several trip to the clinic before optimum results are obtained.
It is usually recommended that the person undergoing treatment combines it with some other hair loss product, as this combination tends to produce the best results.
Luce LDS 100 Laser treatment requires the person seeking treatment to sit under a dome shaped head cover, something similar to what is seen in women's hair salons.
Low energy laser beams flash inside this dome, and the pulses of energy are absorbed into the scalp, stimulating blood flow to this area and invigorating hair follicles.
This particular method boasts of a success rate of around 70% in most cases.
It not only stops further hair loss, but stimulates new hair growth as well.
Cold laser air restoration, or low level light uses low powered laser beams to again stimulate blood flow to the scalp.
This particular type of beam does not enter as deeply into the scalp, but it is still very successful in most cases, especially when used with other hair restoration products.
The laser comb is another hand-held gadget often used as a follow up treatment to in house laser treatments.
This apparatus looks very similar to a hair brush, though it is not used in exactly the same way.
Rather than combing through hair, this should glide over the scalp, resting in place for some time, then progressing further across the scalp.
The results should be the same though; increased blood flow that stimulates hair growth at the hair follicle level.
These laser hair restoration methods very successfully stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss.
The main con with them at this point is the cost with prices for treatments ranging anywhere from around $2000 to $10,000 depending on the area that needs to be covered and the amount of treatments needed.
