The campgrounds feature 65 total campsites, 44 sites that are only for tent campers. None of the sites have electricity or water. Starrigavan Campground offers bath facilities, hiking trails, mountain biking trails, fishing, swimming and boating (non-motorized). The campground is located about seven miles from the heart of Sitka. Starrigavan Campground is open year-round for tent camping, but RVs are only allowed from April through September. Some of the sites at the campground are for only accessible by hiking to them.
