The $60 million dollar renovation of a 150-year-old warehouse has created a more intimate space than Marriott's original monolith on Canal Street. The boutique-style hotel is located in the Warehouse/Arts District of New Orleans, just across the street from the Ernest Morial Convention Center. The hotel itself has meeting space for up to 450 people. The Wired for Business program includes Internet access plus local- and long-distance calling for one daily fee.


331 guest rooms and suites outfitted with Marriott's new Revive bedding have down comforters, 300-thread count sheets, plush mattress pads and plenty of pillows. Each guest room has flat-screen televisions, bath robes, coffee makers and wireless Internet access. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the convention center or the city.

Celebrity chef Tom Wolfe has a fabulous Creole restaurant in the hotel, Wolfe's in the Warehouse. Several restaurant options in the surrounding neighborhood include the original Emeril's and a standout sushi place.
