How to Decorate a Booth With Leather & Lace
- 1). Select a theme for your booth that you can bring out with leather and lace decorations. Look at the product you're promoting for inspiration, as well as your targeted clientele. For example, if you're selling a nail polish made for teenage girls, think of youthful lace and leather colors you can use to catch their attention, such as hot pink leather and bright yellow lace.
- 2). Create a backdrop for your booth. A large piece of leather will make an eye-catching backdrop. Leather is dyed into a variety of colors, so select one that will match the theme and feel of your booth. Alternatively, create a lace backdrop for the booth by hanging one large piece of the frilly material, or tying horizontal rows of lace ribbon all across the back.
- 3). Decorate the table of the booth with leather and lace. Again, think about the product or service you're promoting and choose a material that will complement it. For example, a cowboy goods booth should use leather material as a background for the table display, while beauty supplies can be complemented with a lace tablecloth. For a rustic and feminine look, lay a leather tablecloth over the counter with an eyelet lace cloth over the top. Whatever materials you use, be sure to cover the entire table and drape the fabric over the edges.
- 4). Adorn the poles of the booth by wrapping lace around each one. Tie leather strings around the length of the poles to dangle products or information about your business. For even more coverage, buy leather or lace window drapes and hang them around the border of the booth.
- 5). Place leather and lace anywhere else in the booth that guests might see. Put a leather rug on the floor of the booth; dress up plain chairs by covering them with large lace cloths or by tying lace bows around the back of each one. Cut out shapes from the leather and lace and dangle them from the ceiling of the booth.
