How to Set Up an Orange France Mailbox in MS Outlook
- 1). Launch Outlook. Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, then click "Account Settings."
- 2). Click the "New" button in the window that appears.
- 3). Select the radio button labeled "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP" and click "Next."
- 4). Enter your name, email address and password. The name should be entered as you would like others to see it when receiving a message from you. Place a check in the box labeled "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next."
- 5). Select the radio button labeled "Internet E-mail" and click "Next." On the next screen, your name and email address will already be filled in.
- 6). Select "POP3" or "IMAP" using the "Account Type" drop-down menu. If you use POP3 email, messages will be stored on your computer. If you use IMAP, messages will be stored on the remote server.
- 7). Enter "pop.orange.fr" as the incoming server address if you selected "POP3" in the previous step, or "imap.orange.fr" if you selected "IMAP."
- 8). Enter "smtp.orange.fr" as your outgoing email server unless you subscribe to the "Gigamail" option for increased message storage space. If you are a Gigamail subscriber, enter "smtp.premium.orange.fr" as the outgoing server address.

Click the "Outgoing Server" tap, then place a check in the box labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." - 11
Click "OK," then click "Next," "Finish" and "Close." The Orange France email account is ready to use.
