How often have you heard people say "don't eat any fat if you want to lose weight.
" Or, "fat is the worst thing you can eat.
" Up until recently, this has been the norm - people cutting fat out of their diet in order to shed those stubborn lbs.
Without going into great detail, Essential Fatty Acids or EFA's are Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are necessary fats that humans cannot naturally create, and must be obtained through diet.
EFAs are long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids derived from linolenic, linoleic, and oleic acids.
EFAs support the cardiovascular, reproductive, immune, and nervous systems.
