How to: Help With Photoscape Editing
- 1). Launch the Photoscape application. Select "Editor" from the menu wheel.
- 2). Use the console tree in the upper left-side panel to navigate to the directory where the picture file you want to edit is saved. Clicking on the + sign next to a folder in the console tree opens/expands that folder. Clicking on the - sign next to a folder in the console tree closes/collapses that folder.
- 3). Click directly on the folder containing the picture file you want to edit. All of the photos contained in that folder appear in a window located in the lower left-side panel. Click on the photo to select it.
- 1). Go to the "Home" tab.
- 2). Click the arrow next to the "Bright/Color" button. A menu will open.
- 3). Select "Grayscale" to make the photo black and white.
Select "Sepia" to give the photo an antique look. The rainbow spectrum of color is replaced by tints of brown.
Select "Color Curve" to adjust the color, saturation and luminance ratios of the photograph's red, green and blue colors. Check the box next to "Preview" to preview your edits. Click "OK" to keep the preview edits. Click "Cancel" if you don't want to keep the edits. - 1). Go to the "Home" tab.
- 2). Click the arrow next to the "Filter" button.
- 3). Point to "Pictorialization." Select "Color Pencil" to make the photo look like it was sketched with a color pencil.
Point to "Make a Box." Select your preferred parameters to make the photo look like a three-dimensional solid block.
Select "Cellophane" to make the photo look like it is printed on a cellophane sheet.
Select "Newsprint" to make the photo look like it is printed in a newspaper. Check the box next to "Preview" to preview your edits. Move the horizontal slider to adjust the graininess of the photo. Click "OK" to keep the preview edits.
Point to "Antique Photo." Select "01," "02," "03," "04," "05," "06" or "07" to add blemishing effects to the photo to make it look age worn. - 1). Go to the "Crop" tab.
- 2). Use the computer mouse to click and drag a box over the area you want to keep in your photograph.
- 3). Click the "Crop" button. All of the area outside of the area selected in Step 2 is eliminated. The photo is resized to highlight the selected area.
- 1). Go to the "Tools" tab.
- 2). Click the "Clone Stamp" button.
- 3). Click on the object you want to duplicate.
- 4). Move the mouse to the area of the photo where you want the clone to be. Press and hold the left clicker, then mouse-over the area to paint in the duplicate.
