- 1). Coat your castle stencil lightly with a stencil adhesive spray and attach it to a votive holder.
- 2). Dip a sponge brush into the lighter shade of glass paint. Press the brush against a paper towel until it's nearly dry, then use the brush to fill in the entire stencil.
- 3). Dip a second sponge brush into the darker shade of glass paint. Press the brush against a paper towel until it's nearly dry, then use the brush around the edges of the stencil only.
- 4). Remove the stencil carefully and allow the pain to dry completely.
- 5). Cut a piece of silver ribbon that is 1 1/2 times the circumference of the votive holder, and tie a bow in it.
- 6). Glue the silver ribbon to the votive holder. Place the ends at each side of the castle and the bow in the center of the holder, opposite the stencil. Adjust the size of the bow, or cut the ends to make the ribbon fit.
