How to Brainsync Without Headphones
- 1). Use stereo speakers instead of headphones. A brainsync requires each ear to receive a different audio signal, which is why headphones are ideal as they clearly separate channels. The next best thing is to position the head of the listener perfectly in between the left and right speaker.
- 2). Find a comfortable position and measure out the best position for the left and right speaker to be positioned. The speakers should point directly at the ears and should not be very far away from them. At most, they should be 3 to 5 feet away from the listener--the closer the better. This will direct the audio signals most directly toward the listener. The farther the speakers are, the less concentrated the sound the ear receives will be.
- 3). Play the brainsync binaural beats. Listen to how the sound effects the ear. Adjust the position and distance of the speaker for optimal performance. The volume of the speaker should be loud enough that the audio is clear but not overwhelming. The ear should strain slightly to hear the subtleties of the sound. This straining tricks the ear into being more attentive to the sound from that channel. The ear will filter out all background noise (and sound from the other channel) and concentrate on listening to the speaker closest to it.
