How to Make a Hijab From a Scarf

1). Unfold the scarf. Place the scarf on top of your head so that one side falls to the bottom of the rib cage and the front edge of the scarf extends past the hair line.
2). Fold the scarf down around the edges of the face in front of the ears. Join the edges of the scarf behind the neck, underneath the hair line. Pin the edges together with a safety pin, making sure the scarf is tight against the skin.
3). Pull the long end of the scarf under the chin. Lift it up around the other side of the face and back over the top of the head. Fold it under the chin a second time and pin it in place with a safety pin.
