Facebook

• 1). Log in to your Facebook account by going to Facebook.com and entering in your username and password, then clicking "Login."
  
  
• 2). Click your cursor into the box that says "What's on your mind?" Write an update about what you're doing at the moment, then click "Share."
  
  
• 3). View your update in your Facebook News Feed, or click on "Profile" at the top of the screen to see your profile and your most recent status updates.
  
  

Twitter

• 1). Log in to your Twitter account by clicking "Sign in" at Twitter.com Then enter your username and password into the appropriate boxes and click "Sign in" again.
  
  
• 2). Click your cursor into the box under "What's Happening?" Type in a status update, making sure that the entire message is 140 characters or less. Hit "Return" or "Enter" when you've completed your message.
  
  
• 3). Scroll down to the Timeline to view your Tweet in the timeline. Alternately, click "Profile" near the top of the page to view your profile and your most recent Tweets.
