Ovulation test helps you in finding out the possible ovulation period in advance, by knowing the LH hormone levels.

Ovulation test kit measure the amount of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine.
Immediately prior to ovulation, the body produces a large amount of Luteinizing hormone (LH), which is known as the "LH surge" that is detected in the LH One Step Ovulation Test.
About The Test: The LH One Step Ovulation Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine to aid in the detection of ovulation.
Laboratory studies have shown that the sensitivity of the LH One Step Ovulation Test is 40 mIU/mL and the accuracy is 99%.
The LH One Step Ovulation Test Device is a complete system to help you predict the time of ovulation and peak fertility.
The LH Ovulation Test Device detects the LH surge in urine, signaling that ovulation is likely to occur in the next 24-36 hours.
It is important to know that some infertility treatment medications, such as menotropin, may affect the test result.
A positive result means the specimen contains the level of LH that would indicate you are beginning to ovulate.
You can assume that you will ovulate within 24-36 hours.
A negative result means that no LH surge has been detected and you should continue daily testing.
Not every woman ovulates mid-cycle therefore you may not see a positive result during the first 5 days of testing.
One should continue testing with the LH One Step Ovulation Test Device until the result is found.
Procedure to Use: 1.
Allow the test device, urine specimen and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing.
2.
Determine the day you will begin testing.
3.
Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
4.
Place the test device on a clean and level surface.
Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 full drops of urine (approx.
100¼L) to the specimen well (S) of the test device, and then start the timer.
Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well (S).
5.
Start the timer and wait for the red line(s) to appear.
The result should be read in 5 minutes.
Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
