It Is All In A Choice

The destiny of a nation is determined as much by its dedication to God as it is by its military prowess, and economic might. Without God every nation is destined for destruction. We dont often expect our politicians to be spiritually dedicated, but we should be concerned that we do not elect leaders who are of an evil spirit.

Every man of God knows that it was an evil man, Manasseh, who brought Judah to destruction. If we choose the wrong leader because we refused to consider God, we will be responsible for that choice and God will hold us responsible. It is God who raises nations up; and God who brings them down.

Most would agree that America is a nation blessed of God, and raised up to greatness by God. If even Christians do not consider God when they vote, surely God will hold us accountable.

It is unthinkable that God should forsake this nation, or that destruction should come upon us, but the unthinkable does happen. It was unthinkable that an evil man would become dictator of Germany in 1933. It was unthinkable that he would murder 6 million Jews. The unthinkable had happened, but it was too late. They had already voted in 1933. They who had sown to the wind had reaped the whirlwind.

The unthinkable does happen. Nations, even great nations fall, and ultimately, it is God that brings them down.

We all have opinions as to how we will vote. I cannot judge who is right and neither can you, but be assured that if a Christian does not consider God in this election, he is responsible for the outcome of this nation.

We are about to make a choice between a man who identifies evangelicals and high priest in Mormon religion, and many Christians are doing so without even considering God. High priest Mitt Romney may be the best choice. He may not be, but we are making that choice without considering God.

Mormonism began as a false cult in opposition to Bible truths. The high priests in that religion are active supporters of that religion. That is how they became high priests, but the problem is not that we might vote for such a high priest of that religion.

The problem is that we might do it without considering God. It is God who raises nations up and brings them down, but our political acumen is wiser than Gods understanding.

We know so much. We are so sure of ourselves. We never seek God in an issue that could affect the destiny of our entire country, and we think that God will not hold us accountable. Some say that Mitt Romney, high priest in the Mormon religion should be our President. They dont have to pray about it.

But the ones who know what is of God and what is not of God are the most culpable. They are the ones who should be first to pray.

When Christians are faced with the choice between a man of good intelligence who identifies with evangelicals and a man who is up to his neck in a cult which is opposed to God, and they dont know who to vote for, it says a great deal about the spiritual understanding of our country. Our country is so sick that even the Christians do not know what is of God.

Our country has become as the prophet spoke: From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. (Isa 23:6).

High priest Mitt Romney may the best thing that ever happened to this country, but Christians are voting without even considering God. Pastors are teaching and evangelizing as they should, but they are not devoting so much as a sentence to inform their people what Mormonism is about.

It does not take that much: Mormonism is a cult whose author is the devil and is set against God. Mitt Romney is a high priest in that religion and is probably a servant of that cult.

OK. That took two sentences. You can tell your people all they have to know about this election in two sentences and devote the rest of the time to the spiritual welfare of your people. I think that the welfare of this nation deserves two sentences.

I pray that God has his way with your life, your congregation and our country. If God does not have his way with this country soon, we may face the judgment of God. It is Gods way or his judgment. We choose.
