How to Get Mold Off Oak Cabinets
- 1). Mix together a cleaning solution that is safe to use on your oak cabinets. The solution should consists of equal parts of water and ammonia in a small bucket.
- 2). Dip a cloth into the cleaning solution and wring it out only slightly.
- 3). Use the cloth to scrub any areas of the oak cabinets that are affected by mold. Add more of the ammonia cleaning solution for tough mold stains.
- 4). Pour some olive oil into a shallow dish, and dip in a piece of 000 steel wool if you can still see a mold stain.
- 5). Rub the olive oil into the wood with the steel wool to restore the natural color of the oak cabinets.
