    • 2). Double-click "Internet Options." An Internet Options window will load onto the screen. Select "Firewall Exceptions" to view all the programs the firewall allows access to the Internet. Scroll through the list of programs until you find the browser you use on the computer. Check off the program, and click "Apply" to accept the changes.

    • 3). Open the Internet browser on the computer, then navigate to the LG R500 laptop driver download page. The official LG.com website no longer provides drivers from this computer, so you need to obtain the information from a third-party site, such as notebook-driver.com

    • 4). Scroll through the list of drivers until you come to the "Audio" based drivers you need on the computer. Make sure the operating system is listed as "WinXP."

    • 5). Click the "Download" link to download the drivers to your computer. Once the files have finished downloading, right-click the information, choose "Send To," then select '"UnZip." Choose a location for extracting the data. Click "OK" to extract the zipped files.

    • 6). Double-click the extracted data to load the driver installation wizard. Accept the end-user agreement, then follow the prompts to completely install the audio drivers onto the LG R500 laptop computer.
