- 1). Open Tumblr and log in to your account with your username and password.
- 2). Click "Post Text" to create a new text post.
- 3). Enter the HTML code for the GIF if you want to display the code itself, not the GIF, to your viewers.
- 4). Press the "HTML" button to edit the HTML for the post and post the code for the GIF directly into this template to share the actual animated image instead of the code.
- 5). Click "Create Post" under the text box.
