Mario Kart Wii Review
This is an extremely fun, addicting game that just about anyone could learn to play and love.
I'm not joking when I say that my grandfather came over and played this game, and won his first race! It was on the easy level, but still, it goes to show just how easy it is to pick something up like this.
Mario Kart Wii is a truly special game.
It takes a classic format that achieved great success on the N64 and the Super Nintendo, and transposes it to the Wii, taking full advantage of the motion sensing controls.
Basically, you're given a wheel to plug your remote into, which allows you to wirelessly steer your driver during every race.
This is an extremely accurate wheel, and it genuinely turns exactly as you do as you're turning the wheel.
The boards are fast paced and the tracks are extremely competitive and fun.
Perhaps my favorite thing about the game is the online play mode.
This allows you to race against up to 11 other racers from all around the world, playing against them and earning points as you win, or losing them as you lose.
This quickly lets you see how you stack up compared to the many other drivers playing this game.
If you own a Wii, I'd seriously recommend checking this game out.
I haven't really put it down since I bought it.
