- The feeling of a belt being tightened around your chest
- Sudden chest pain or pressure that worsens
- Dizziness
- Pain may spread to the shoulders, neck, jaw or arms
- Pain often responds quickly to nitroglycerin
- Shortness of breath
- Often accompanied by a cold sweat
