- 1). Go to the Microsoft Update page. See the Resources section of this article.
- 2). Click on the "Express" updates button. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the number of updates available, it may take several minutes to compile the list of updates.
- 3). Look through the list of updates that appears. "Windows Security Center" is among them. Click "Install Updates."
- 4). When the installation process finishes, the computer may need to reboot. Click "Yes" to reboot.
- 5). Check the Control Panel option on the Start menu and look for the Security Center icon to ensure the program is installed.
