Lady Muskoka

• The Lady Muskoka is a 300 passenger steamship based in Bracebridge, known as "the Heart of Muskoka." The ship is 104-feet long and 24-feet wide, and is handicapped accessible with amenities for babies and children such as a changing station. The ship contains a full-service restaurant and bar. The company offers luncheon, dinner, brunch, and breakfast cruises, and the ship can be reserved for special occasions such as weddings and private dinners.
  
  

Segwun

• The Segwun, built in 1887, is reportedly the oldest operating steamship in North America. It offers Sightseeing, Lunch and Dinner cruises, such as a Millionaire's Row Lunch Cruise and a Sunset Dinner Cruise, during its145-day season from June through October. The Segwun is operated by the Muskoka Lakes Navigation Co., owned by the charity Muskoka Steamship & Historical Society, which offers public cruises with the purpose to "preserve knowledge of the steam era and to let the public experience 'the fun, romance and history' of the Muskoka Lakes," according to segwun.com.
  
  

Wenonah II

• Wenonah II, built in 2002 in the style of a 1907 Muskoka steamship, contains modern amenities such as air-conditioning, three decks, and three dining rooms. It can hold 200 passengers and offers Dinner & Dance Cruises, and also is available for special occasions such as private parties and weddings. The vessel offers cruises on all three of Muskoka's major lakes. The vessel also is operated by the Muskoka Lakes Navigation Co.
  
  

When to Go

• The District of Muskoka is located in south-central Ontario with climate characterized by warm summers and cold winters. Temperatures peak in July and August with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s. The average temperature in January is 14 degrees. Spring, summer, and autumn are the best times for traveling to the region. The cruise ships on the Muskoka Lakes do not operate in the winter.
